Fermenti: Transforming Gut Health Through Fermented Fruit Innovation

Marie-Laure Prevost, founder of Fermenti and a dietician with expertise in microbiome science, has developed innovative dry fermented fruit snacks that promote gut health while offering greater convenience than traditional products. Through Growing Kent & Medway's support, including our Business Innovation Vouchers, Business Sustainability Challenge, Mentoring Programme, and Food Accelerator Programme, Marie-Laure accessed critical research facilities at the Medway Food Innovation Center and formed a valuable partnership with mentor Nimisha Raja MBE, founder of Nim's Naturally.
This collaboration has enabled Fermenti to establish a presence in stores across London, including Planet Organic and Whole Foods, with plans for online sales and expansion. To find out more about Marie's innovation journey, watch the case study video below.
